Bolton Community Transport and Furniture Services

Our services are available to everyone yet one of our main aims is to help the elderly, disabled and groups or individuals who are socially excluded for various reasons.
 
We are able to carry clients to any destination and on a day of their choice. We provide transport for shopping, leisure trips, outings, holidays - anything!!

We provide low-cost hire of minibuses (up to 16 passenger seats) to community groups based in, or for the benefit of people living in the borough of Bolton.
Several different types of minibus are available, all with lifts and able to carry passengers seated in wheelchairs.
 
We also provide our buses with volunteer drivers, who have passed the MIDAS driver assessment test. The purpose of the assessment is to make sure that drivers are confident and safe in handling a larger vehicle and are able to carry out the tasks connected with transporting the disabled and wheelchair users.
 
All our vehicles are fully equipped with seat restraints and other safety equipment (First Aid box, fire extinguisher, wheelchair clamps etc.), and come with comprehensive insurance and breakdown recovery (including "get you home")

We collect all kinds of furniture which is placed in our showrooms at 139/141 Market Street, Farnworth &
Unit 4, Lecturers Close, Bolton.
Our opening times are Monday - Saturday 9.00am - 5.00pm
 
We sell it at low prices to customers who are on low income. We also give furniture free of charge to those with no funds.
 
We rely on income from second-hand furniture to help fund our minibus operations, so we sell some furniture at slightly higher prices in order to raise money.
